vitigni sono presenti almeno per l’85%.
Types
White, including sparkling wine produced with a blend of
traditional varieties, minimum 75% and Biancame and Trebbiano
with the presence of at least 85% of homonymous vines. Rosso and
Rosato Sangiovese minimum 70%, if the vine is at least 85% can be
qualified as Sangiovese, also in Novello and Reserve types.
In the subsections there are also: Focara, produced with a blend of tra-
ditional grape varieties, Focara Pinot Noir, also vinified in white, if this
variety is at least 90%. Reserve version is also contemplated. Roncaglia
is produced with Pinot Noir vinified in white. In Roncaglia white type,
the grape variety must be at least 25%; Roncaglia Pinot Noir at least
90%. Focara Pinot noir and Roncaglia Pinot noir contemplate sparkling
wines, with Pinot noir vinified in white, present for at least 85%.
Subsection Parco Naturale Monte San Bartolo contemplates Sangiovese
and Cabernet Sauvignon types, if these vines are at least 85%.
Rosso Conero
Vitigni
Il Rosso Conero è
prodotto con uve del vitigno
Montepulciano. Possono con-
correre alla produzione di detto
vino anche le uve a bacca rossa
coltivate nella zona e autorizzate dalla
Regione Marche, purché in misura non
superiore al 15% del totale. Il riferimento
geografico è il promontorio del Monte
Conero sul mare Adriatico, a sud est di
Ancona e le colline discendenti. La zona di
produzione interessa sette comuni: Ancona,
Camerino, Numana, Offagna, Sirolo e in parte Castelfidardo ed Osimo.
Vines
The Red Conero is produced with Montepulciano grapes. Red
grapes, which are cultivated n the area and authorized by the Marche
Region, can be used in the production of this wine, provided that the
amount does not exceed 15% of the total. The geographical area is
the promontory of the Conero Mountains on the Adriatic sea, to the
south east of Ancona and the descending hills. The zone of produc-
